The energy was fantastic!  Mayhem MTC is a wonderfully talented young company  –  both production team and cast  –  which presented an incredibly moving, thought provoking and at times hilarious evening’s entertainment.  There was not a single weak link.  Given the  nature of the story-line of this show, the young Director and cast dealt with extremely sensitive, and until recent years frankly taboo, issues with great skill:  teenage masturbation humorously, without being vulgar;  child abuse and violence towards women thoughtfully, without being self-conscious or clumsy;  sex and love (both heterosexual and homosexual)  tenderly, without being cloying.  The issues of abortion and suicide were handled with such openness and honesty as to be very powerful and true to life.  I am confident in saying that, throughout the evening, Mayhem generated within their audience exactly the appropriate degree of unease...
